A glimpse into an Old Montreal Wedding
Emilie and Paul's wedding day was so perfect!! From the very beginning of the day with the getting ready, surrounded by so many friends and family members, up until the reception with the epic dance party- it was a magical wedding day!
They got married at the Hôtel William Gray, a luxury spa hotel in the heart of the Old Port of Montreal. The hotel has found the perfect balance between Old Port charm and modern day luxury, making it the perfect wedding venue for your big day! Close to all of the iconic wedding photo locations, you will be in arms reach of everything on your wedding day, which will allow you to sit back and enjoy the day in a stress-free manner!
The hotel rooms at the William Gray are beautiful for getting ready photos, with excellent natural light and beautifully designed. Emilie wore a a Stella York wedding dress bought at La Jolie Robe, which was timeless, classic and so elegant! Her Manolo Blahnik wedding shoes tied in perfectly with the style! All the rings were from Ecksand. The flowers were expertly designed and created by Fleuriste Astilbe, one of my favourite Montreal wedding florists! Emilie's makeup was so natural and timeless done by the talented Andrea Beauty. Paul had a custom suit designed by SUITABLEE, and I was blown away by the quality!!
After the ceremony, I snuck outside with the couple and the wedding party to take the group photos. I then walked around the Old Port with Emilie and Paul and we captured their love in the charming cobblestone streets of Old Montreal!
Then it was time fore dinner where we had absolutely delicious food, accompanied by such heartfelt speeches. Capturing the couple's reactions to their loved one's speeches was so beautiful as you will see later on in this blog. We started the night with a delicious tiered wedding cake from Cupcake Couture. After this, it was time to PARTYY!! The DJs from Marco Ferri Entertainment kept the party going all night and were so much fun!! And boy did this group dance all night!! Grandma even made it to the dance floor which was my favourite part of the evening!! To end the night we took some super fun direct flash photos outside, with the couple wearing sunglasses!! What an epic wedding day!
