Montreal couple's Photoshoot on FILM

I had the pleasure of photographing Cassandra + Richard at the Old Port of Montreal! Although it was late October, we could not have asked for better weather for our session. We strolled around Old Montreal and captured their love using not only my digital canon 5d mark iv camera, but also my trusty film camera!

I absolutely love taking film photos- the entire process from loading the film into the camera, the unique feeling of taking a photo and then advancing the film between shots. It's just an unbeatable experience and the results are always so beautiful and unique.

We took photos at several different architecturally impressive buildings and then got lucky and found some trees which still had beautiful fall colours! Because of the gorgeous Montreal weather, the Old Port was BUSY which added to some of the photos. Capturing C+R's love amongst the hustle and bustle of all of the tourists made for some truly special film photos which you can see below. Lastly, we ended off the photoshoot at Café Olimpico, a family-run, Italian coffee shop for some candid film photos.

Pro tip: if you're currently planning your 2023 Montreal wedding, Café Olympico offers catering services where they set up a coffee stand at your wedding. This typically happens after your wedding reception, once the party starts and your guests need a little caffeine pick-me-up! 10/10 recommend!!
