The Art of Capturing Moments on 35mm Film
Capturing R+M's entire wedding day on 35mm film was such a special experience. Film forces me to slow down, and be intentional with every frame captured (and slowing down on a wedding day does not come naturally!). Film is my favourite medium because it has a unique ability to imbue each image with that timeless feeling we all love. The grain, texture, and colour depth of film, creates a distinctive look that digital photography often can't replicate. There's nothing quite like the anticipation of receiving a roll of developed film and reliving the magic of a wedding day through each frame.

The Perfect wedding day
R + M's wedding day was absolutely perfect. It was a windy November day but the sun was shining and the energy was amazing! From those exciting moments getting ready, to family photos and bridal party photos, we had a perfect morning. The ceremony was during sunset and the lighting was perfect. The reception had a whole new level of energy and excitement which was so much fun to capture! We captured the couple cutting their vintage, heart-shaped wedding cake and ended the night with a sparkler exit and a private live concert.
