Aliza photographed our wedding on July 5, 2020. From our first communication, Aliza was super responsive and professional, but above that she was also kind, understanding, flexible and incredibly easy to like and work with.
Prior to our wedding, Aliza took the time to come and meet us in person and discuss our vision for our photographs. We talked for an hour, laid out our needs and our likes and dislikes, and by the end of it, we had a shared Pinterest board where we could share ideas together.
Due to COVID, we had to rearrange our date, and she was very accommodating when we finally settled on a new date and location. She even went out of her way to text me on our old wedding date and wish us a good “old wedding day”. Little things like that really set her apart.
At the wedding, she arrived early, and immediately made everyone feel comfortable. While taking photos, she chatted with our families, with the makeup artist, and got so many beautiful and natural shots as a result of building great rapport. She wasn’t afraid to guide our poses, use her own ideas and coordinate every aspect of the photos to ensure we got every shot we’d hoped for.
Aliza shared a sneak peek of our photos within a week, and we had the rest of the back less than a month after the wedding. She shared them via a password protected link on her website, and they came beautifully organized and fully downloadable.
The finished photos are GORGEOUS. So many of our family members have commented that they’re the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen. The poses look really natural and everyone looks amazing. The lighting is perfect. Aliza managed to get photos of moments that I didn’t even realize were happening while I was getting ready. Going through the photos, I experienced a whole other side of our wedding day.
Long story short - I love this lady. She has such an eye for detail and an instinct for capturing the small memories that make a day so unique and special. She’s so kind and professional and talented. You couldn’t pick a better photographer.
