Portraits in the old port of montreal

I had so much fun with Naza during her session! She is so down to earth and was just full of smiles and laughter. We walked around the streets of Old Montreal and found such amazing spots along the way to take photos at. It was also just such a perfect snowy day which created the perfect blank canvas for us to create magic with. Naza was absolute sport because although these photos are beautiful (if I may say so myself hehe), it was snowing the entire time and it was actually very windy! She was a real trooper taking off her coat for the photos but I think it was totally worth it!

We passed by the cutest store called Le Petite Dep which is a general store that also serves coffee and pastries and is painted this beautiful aqua colour. There was a dog tied up outside of the store so we took advantage of the opportunity and got some cute photos there!

We ended off the session at Tommy's Cafe. If you live in Montreal and have never been, I'd definitely recommend it! Pre-pandemic it was the place to go for brunch on the weekends. They have such a well-designed and cozy interior, with the most delicious brunch and pastry options. They also have lots of vegan alternatives! We both got a chai lattée which was served with rose petals and was just the perfect treat after taking photos in the snow. Before parting ways, we had to get a few photos of Naza all cozy and bundled up in the streets of Old Montreal with her coffee cup. Check out the last photos to see Naza and her mom! Aren't they the cutest?

Here's a fun little message from Naza introducing herself and what she does:

Hey! I’m Naza and I've lived in Montreal since 2015. ✨ After graduating from Concordia I decided to start my own blog and help Russian speaking-people get to know more about Canada! 🇨🇦 Aside from writing about Canadian traditions, way of living and other aspects of immigrating here, I also host Instagram lives with Russians who have moved to Canada, and post their unique stories about emigration on my website! 👌🏻 Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my story! 💗

Here's a link to Naza's blog! Although I don't understand Russian- it is quite impressive!

As always, thanks for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoy the photos! Hope to see you here next week! 💛

Xx,

Aliza
