A rustic autumn wedding

Can't decide if a fall wedding is right for you? Maybe these photos can help you make that decision! Elyse and Jesse's autumn wedding (October) was a freaking dream! It was a small and intimate wedding with only close family and friends. The ceremony and reception were held at the charming Mill Street Brewery in Ottawa on the Rideau Canal. The ceremony was absolutely lovely complete with a flower arch, lots of candles and petal on the aisle. As if the ceremony wasn't perfect enough, Elyse wrote the most beautiful love song for Jesse and sang it while playing the piano (she has such a stunning voice!!). It was such a sweet and wholesome addition to their ceremony. After the wedding ceremony, we all went outside and jumped right into family photos in front of the brewery.

Elyse and Jesse really valued photos on their wedding day so we had planned the perfect photo route to take between the ceremony and reception! We drove to Mackenzie King Estate in Gatineau Park and got lovely photos in front of the colourful foliage. Elyse and Jesse's smiles were contagious and their happiness just shines through in these photos. Can you even believe they were nervous about this being their first professional photoshoot? I can't either! Next, we drove to Ottawa and took photos at Major Hill's Park with the Parliament buildings behind us. To end off the magical day, we headed back to Mill Street Brewery for the reception! :)
