Surrounded by breathtaking mountains and overlooking the serene Lac Ouareau, this venue offers a peaceful escape from the city. STEVEN & TRYCIA'S RAINY DAY MAGIC
Steven and Trycia’s August wedding at Le Grand R was the perfect example of how even a rainy day can turn into something beautiful. The day started off chilly, with light rain, but that didn’t change a thing. In fact, the weather added a touch of romance and coziness to the day, making it even more special.
The day began with Steven getting ready alongside his mom, dad and groomsmen, capturing some heartfelt moments that truly reflected the close bond between them. Trycia, surrounded by her bridesmaids and mom, enjoyed a morning filled with laughter and excitement as they prepared for the big day.
Their first look, which took place on a balcony overlooking the calm lake of Lac Ouareau, was intimate and the perfect way to kickstart the festivities!
A HEARTFELT CEREMONY AND CELEBRATION
The ceremony was a blend of tradition and personal touches, with a pastor delivering the service in Italian, the ceremony was both beautiful and emotional. After the ceremony, we took advantage of the gorgeous location for some family and wedding party photos, with the lake creating a beautiful setting for their portraits. We took S+T's wedding portraits on the beach and just as we were making our way to the dock, the sun came out, creating the most dreamy lighting! The umbrellas added a touch of whimsy to the photos! Such a perfect moment!
A CULINARY DELIGHT
The food at Le Grand R was incredible, carefully crafted by their in-house chef. Steven and Trycia treated their guests to a delicious four-course meal, with every dish carefully prepared and beautifully presented. They chose three different cakes to reflect their tastes and heritage: a classic four-tiered pistachio white wedding cake, a vegan vintage heart cake, and a large, stunning Haitian cake. Each one was a masterpiece, adding a sweet touch to the perfect day.
